The Geraldton Regional Community Education Centre has been awarded the inaugural "City of Geraldton and Shire of Greenough Community Spirit" award at the Midwest Business Excellence awards in recognition of our important role supporting local communities.

The accolade is a milestone for the Geraldton Regional Community Education Centre as well as for all local community organisations and helps to give a broader perception of our type of organisation and what we can do to contribute to economic development through personal and social well being.

We wish to acknowledge The Midwest Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its successful role in coordinating the Business Excellence awards and congratulate all other nominees/winners.
