Parents in Tune with Education falls under the Indigenous Children Programme and is funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.  This project aims to increase parents’ understanding and skills to enable them to support their children’s participation in school. “Parents in Tune with Education” will focus on Indigenous children and families living within the Midwest District region which encompasses the town of Carnarvon and the Murchison region which covers the towns Mullewa, Mt Magnet, Sandstone, Cue, Meekatharra and the remote communities of Yulga Jinna and Pia Wadjarri.

This project aims to enable children (0-12), young people (13-18), and adults (parents and caregivers) to develop supportive, safe and nurturing family relationships that support children involved with the education process.
